Arbor Crest is a 120 unit apartment community developed in 2006 using Section 42 Low Income Housing Tax Credits. The property consists of five, three-story buildings and offers spacious 1, 2 and 3 bedroom floor plans with an average size of 938 square feet. 89% of the units are 2 and 3 bedrooms. The project is located in Quincy, Florida, 20 minutes northwest of the state’s capital of Tallahassee. Arbor Crest’s initial 15 year tax credit compliance period ends in December 2021, with a 50 year extended low-income housing agreement (ELIHA) ending in 2026. Until that time, the project must continue to be operated as an affordable housing community, which in turn keeps the demand for its units high.
